50 years ago today, on the 23rd of November 1963, a little teatime BBC show called Doctor Who aired it's first episode; "An Unearthly Child". Some people said it wouldn't last a week, yet here we are! 50 years on and still going strong.
I watched my first episode of Doctor Who in 2005 when Russell T Davis rebooted the series with 'Rose' and since then, I've been hooked. Doctor Who has become such a huge part of my life that I literally cannot imagine living without it.
So, as well as saying the biggest Happy Birthday to my favourite Time Lord, it's also a Thank You. For all the smiles, laughs and tears.
